She has a degree in English from Stanford University.
Langenkamp's voice appears twice in the song "Are You Ready For Freddy" by The Fat Boys, which plays at the end of A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: Dream Master.
It took her 7 years to earn her English degree from Stanford because she was working at the same time.
Charlie Sheen was the best man at her wedding to Anderson, Sheen's friend from high school.
Is a member of the PTA, and leads a local beach-cleanup effort.
Is an avid photographer.

In Wes Craven's "A Nightmare on Elm Street" Heather played a 15-year-old girl. In a particular scene, after her character has experienced some bizarre events and is rather beaten down, she looks in a mirror and says "God, I look 20-years-old." The irony in that scene was, even though Heather was playing a 15-year-old, in reality she actually was 20-years-old.
Resembles Nancy Kerrigan and even played her in Tonya & Nancy: The Inside Story (1994) (TV)
Her first feature role was in Nickel Mountain (1984)
Was set to star in Cursed (2005) but along with a few other actors, when the movie was being re-shot and re-written, some of the actors including herself couldn't return to re-shoot their scenes. Heather herself was pressed for time, and couldn't return to do her scenes all over again.
Is of Dutch descent.
